Martrice Henderson-Aldridge

Martice Henderson Aldridge is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been providing quality mental health and social services in the Rockford area for over 20 years. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Southern Illinois University and a Masters in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. Her one year accredited internship was completed at the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services.

Mrs. Henderson Aldridge is a certified child custody evaluator, trained by the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts with a certificate of training in co-parent counseling training. She is also a certified family therapy interventionist, trained by Terry Treppe, PhD and Lorna Hecker, PhD. Mrs. Henderson Aldridge holds a certificate of training in accelerated adaptive information processing /eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). She provides a comprehensive assessment which leads to an individual treatment plan that addresses individual needs and goals.

She has evaluated and treated many children, adolescents and adults for emotional and behavioral problems. She conducts assessments and treats conditions such as BiPolar Disorder, Attention Deficit Disorder, Attention Deficit with Hyperactivity Disorder, Couples Counseling, School related issues, life stressors, eating disorders, anxiety disorders, sexual abuse treatment and marital counseling,

Professional memberships include National Association of Clinical Social Workers, and Mrs. Henderson Aldridge is also involved in community organizations such as the Rockford Rotary Club, Rockford Chamber of Commerce, the Northern Illinois Community Foundation Scholarship Committee and the Taus Organization.
