Tiffany Williams is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that has earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology/Women’s Studies from Bradley University and a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a concentration in Mental Health. She has five years of experience post-graduate working with a multidisciplinary mental health agency and in private practice settings.
Thus far, she has developed clinical experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in both individual and group capacities. She encompasses the ability to provide treatment surrounding attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, anxiety disorder, depression, substance abuse, bereavement, crisis/ trauma, domestic violence, occupational stress, and family/child behavioral related issues.
She has acquired both CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention) and TCI (Therapeutic Crisis Intervention) state certifications as of 201 5 via Cunningham Children’s Home and The Prairie Center organizations in Urbana-Champaign, IL. She has presented clinical research on topics such as gender stereotypes and the effects of substance abuse on family systems in the Midwestern region within the past 10 years. She possess the ability to provide support and education via comprehensive assessment and therapeutic intervention techniques.
